Life in Abilene
You think the gangs in Los Angeles and New York get a kick when they read this:
Gang member sentenced on drug charges
ABILENE -- An Abilene man has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison on drug charges. 35-year-old Roberto Rodriguez, AKA ‘Crazy Bob’, plead guilty in March to possession with intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine. Rodriguez was arrested by a D-P-S trooper in October of last year...then by Abilene police in November of 2005...both times with meth in his possession. Rodriguez actual sentence is 235 months.
Crazy Bob? Are you kidding me? Could they not come up with something a little more intimidating? What gang was he with, the Freaks? the Preppy's? the Jocks?

Waiting for Austin...
We are now officially less than three weeks from Shawna's due date. The room is ready, mom and dad are ready and Domino's ready. Here are a couple of pictures of Austin's room:
Yesterday, we went and "interviewed" the pediatrician. How do you interview a pediatrician? What questions do you ask a pediatrician?
"Can I see pictures of your circumcision work?"
"Do you believe in witchcraft for healing?"
Well anyway, I guess we have a lot to learn over the course of Austin's lifetime.
