US Open

I just returned with Kevin Campbell and Garrett Sublette from a 3-day tour of Pittsburgh where we went to the US Open (Wednesday's practice round and Thursday and Friday's round) and to the Texas Rangers - Pittsburgh Pirates games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

A couple of observations:

1. The freeway system in Pittsburgh is messed up!

2. Downtown Pittsburgh is awesome.

3. Oakmont Country Club is a beast!

4. The Rangers were awful except for the one game we did not go to.

5. Everyone drinks ice cold yingaling (beer). The three of us chuckled everytime we heard the the guy at the ballpark trying to sell "Ice cold yingaling!"

I got to meet Chad Campbell on Wednesday afternoon. When we told him we worked at ACU, he came over and visited with us for a while. (His brother Mike is ACU's golf coach).
